I moved to Monticello, Utah, in February of 2013 and spent countless days hiking and exploring Arches National Park. Recently, while digging through my portfolio to re-edit older images, I realized how many of those early photos I had overlooked for years. Instead of writing about each individual weekend trip, I decided to gather my favorite images into a single post—making it easier to wander through them all in one place.

One of the biggest benefits of living in the area was experiencing Arches throughout the year and across the seasons. While hiking in deep snow can be a challenge, winter brings an entirely new layer of beauty to the red rock—quiet, stark, and unforgettable.
